Staying in Curacao

There has been a small change of plans: Maria (my sister) is coming to visit on Curacao.  To make that fit in the time and travel schedule, I am now going to stay here till after Christmas.  Tomorrow (Friday 7th) I will be hauled out of the water at Curacao Marine, and start working on repainting the under water ship.  While the boat is out of the water there are plenty of other maintenance projects to undertake, I am still getting a list together of all the needs to be done.  The anti fouling paint is terribly expensive, but I guess it is better than becoming a floating barnacle reef or having to scrape the bottom every other day.

Once the boat is back in the water (in theory that should be Friday 14th) we might make a trip over to Bonaire (or maybe just Klein Curacao).  After Christmas I think I will be heading straight for Colon at the north entrance of the Panama Canal (maybe with some stop over on the San Blas islands).
