Yesterday, 12 January, Frank called and he asked me to post a message as his computer is broken down (I sometimes tell my friends: sailing is 95% of the time solving all kind of technical problems). First the good news: he arrived at Curacao Marine 10 days ago and all repairs have been done now – prop shaft, sails. So his boat is ready for leaving for Panama. The bad news: his laptop does not work anymore, so Frank is searching for another one. His question to you: does anyone have a secondhand laptop for sale? (or have some advice for getting another one?) It could be sent in some way to Panama. I do not know further technical details of the laptop as at that moment Frank’s phone card was finished. If you now something you could leave a message here or send a cc to mbreure@uwnet.nl. Frank will probably stay for some days on Curacao.
