Have been at the Papeete harbor for the past few days, floating docks down town Papeete. Walk of the dock into the center of town. But, convenience comes at a price, so I am going to an anchorage a few miles from here.
Yesterday Peter from Sayonara located me, our paths had seperated on the way to Kauehi. He was unlucky to get on a reef here on Tahiti, and his boat was in the slings for some repairs on the keel. With some luck it will be finished before the weekend.
Walked around town a lot yesterday, just looking for fresh vegetables. Too many shops, you can’t find anything, was used to one store per town, was much easier ;-). But, got my vegetables, should last me a while.
