Trip to Carmen

Made a two day trip to Carmen last week.  There is a boat yard there which I had been in touch with via email.  Talked to the manager and decided to go there for the repairs.  They do not have lift, but instead tie the boat up at high tide and then do the work on low tide.  It is near by and they have professional workers, so I decided to give it a try.  I will be heading there by the end of this week. From the yard I made a trip, by tricycle, to Danau.  A near by city.  It is good to visit outside the rumble of the big city.  And suddenly I was the only the only non Filippino. Might do a little more cruising around, though still working on the radiator gasket that broke down on the way to Gizo.  Winds are always light around here, so I end up mostly motoring or motor-sailing.

I believe you are having a good time cruising around . Hows the repair going? I hope it would not take you to the end of the year. Where is the next destination?
    Good day.

Repair should start this Saturday. Not sure how long it will take, but, I still plan on being in South Africa before the end of this year. After the repair I hope to cruise a little more of the Philippines before taking off for Malaysia and Thailand.
