Morning Light alongside the wall drying out.
Rudder being repaired.
Went along the wall on Saturday and had a first look at the keel in the evening at the low tide. They started working on the boat Monday afternoon. The rudder repair was more work than I thought, there was a crack along the front of the rudder where the two shells of the rudder come together. Three layers of roven woven mat were put over that to fix that. The work on the bottom of the keel was not as bad as I thought. The guys worked really hard, and in two low tides the repairs were done and the anti-fouling was painted. Went for the low maintenance solution: no longer a boot stripe, anti-fouling as high as the top of the old boot stripe. I did a few small things myself, the yard workers did everything else.
