Since I was attempting to buy and install a HAM radio I hung around a little longer. This ended up being an unsuccessful project. But it took me a few extra trips into Dumaguete, including some goose chases to find the right electrical repair shop and HAM amateurs. It turns out the radio is broken, so no luck with this one.
The radio had been stored in someones attic for a few years. I will return it to the owner, hopefully he will be okay with that.
My stay has been beyond a bit too long, and to avoid any further trouble I need to get myself moving again. Which reminds me to download some weather while I can.
