Pictures from the trip to Singapore/Puteri

Looking back at Santubong.

Last sight of Borneo.

Finally a nice sun rise picture.

Some Indonesian islands in the South China Sea.

Another island, looks more like somewhere near Norway.

Sailing into the sun set once more.

South China Sea on a calmer day.

The closer to Singapore the more traffic, this was bulk carrier “Iron Man”. Had to tack to avoid getting too close.

A container ship, these things are incredible big, and go fast as well (21 knots).

Many anchored boats in front of the Singapore sky line.

Another view of down town Singapore.

Just how ugly can they make these car carriers?

Indonesian navy burning up some diesel (look at its wake).

Another cloggie, the HAM318, dredger now from Van Oord. They are cheating: their Dutch flag was a painted piece of wood.

Another big one not making any money.

After hours of docks and petro-chemical industry, there are suddenly some islands with nice green nature.

Singapore is known for its thunderstorms, and I got a big one. It got cold and dark, and I almost got run over by a tug boat.

Finally made a picture of the lightning after many attempts, not a very good one, I will keep trying.
