Blues

Not much has changed here, we are burning fuel without making a lot of progress. Replaced the large genoa for the yankee, now with the flatter yankee and the stay sail we can motor sail closer to the wind.
Have been on shift for three hours and my hands hurt from pulling on lines, just trying to figure out which tack will give us at least some speed in the right direction.
We were doing 4 knots for a little bit, but that wind already petered out. Now doing 3.2 with the engine at 1200rpm.
Thanks for rupee exchange rates and fuel prices. We might call in on one of the Lakshadweep islands for a quick fuel stop without having to check in and out, if they let us do that.
We are in the 9th Degree Channel, 140NM W of Cochin, 1229 to Salalah.
We have been using too much time for email, so I have to cut down on email use since getting weather information has priority over other emails.
