Having more than enough sleep for 14 hours, there is no reason to not being able to walk the whole London City!!!
We started with having breakfast around 7.45am. Breakfast time was from 7am-9am. I always get nervous if the time is closer to 9am because I don’t want the food to finish. Hehe. So I made sure that we were not to early and also not to late for breakfast. When we walk into the cafe, there was free fresh orange juice, milk, corn flakes. Then the girl in the kitchen will come and ask whether you will want English Breakfast. So we both got an English Breakfast and I not liking food go to waste, got myself a bowl of corn flakes too!
Then when the English Breakfast arrived, it was the best meal I ever seen! 2 eggs sunny side up, 1 sausage, 2 slices of bacon baked bean and toast which you can have more if you want more. They have the best tomato ketchup I have ever tasted too!
So Frank gave me his meat and I gave him one of my egg to make it even. aha!
After breakfast, we got ourselves ready, and went to the reception to ask about the tube or underground and train payment system. We can get a cheap tube ticket if we travel after peak hours at 9.30am. So we had an hour to kill, so went to a cafe and had coffee.
When it was time, then we went to the tube and went to Hyde Park Corner. From there, we walked to along the Green Park towards Buckingham Palace. The closes anyone can get to Prince William!!!!
There were lots of tourist there waiting for the Palace Gallery and also the royal Mew to open which we don’t intend to do. So we took some photos of the palace and walked around the palace square. It was really a nice place.
Then we continue walking to Westminster Cathedral.
It is the Mother Church of the Roman Catholic community in England and Wales. It was designed in the early Christian Byzantine style by John Francis Bentley. It was opened in 1903.

Then we decided to get a better look of London, so we climbed the Westminster Tower. The entrance fee was 3GBP.
We were surprised because, we didn’t have to climb anything, and there was an elevator that took us up there! Phew!
It was very nice view. It was very windy too! Which I love!
After enjoy the view of London from the tower, we then continue our journey to Westminster Abbey. This is where all the royalties get married.
Another small church just next to Westminster Abbey.
Then we continue our walk to The Houses of Parliament.
Rachel with Big Ben!
Then we walked pass the London Eye.
We then decided that it was time to have lunch and of course we went and have the famous Fish and Chips of the English!! We went to a local bar which was built under the train rail. It was next to the Waterloo Station. So we could hear the train passing by on us every so often.
Tried their unpressurized beer….blah…!!!!
After satisfying our hungry, we went on our journey to the famous London Bridge!! Now I remember singing London Bridge is falling down when I was little and now I am walking on it!
We kept walking on the London Bridge street, then we saw this beautiful Monument. Not knowing what it was, we walk towards it.
The Monument was built to commemorate the great fire of London 1666 which burned for three days consuming more than 13000 houses and devastation 436 acres of the city. It is 202ft in height.
When we saw that we could climb the monument, we went inside and paid 3GDP each. There were 311 steps!!! It was worth it. The view was amazing, and when we got down, we have a certificate each!!!!
When we got down the monument, we rest a little bit for couple of minutes before continuing our journey. Next destination was the London tower.
Then we walked to the Tower Hill Memorial which was just a 20 minutes walk from the London Tower.
Around the Tower Hill Memorial was also the Trinity Square. Enjoy the view. This is me pointing to the building so instead of using and arrow I use my finger. I thought it was a brilliant idea.

After finishing this bit, it turned dark. So we decided it’s time to go to a bar and find something to eat. So we went to a bar called Cheshire Cheese in town and had our drink. Then after a while we decided that we want to eat Indian food. So we walked more in town, and found an Indian restaurant. Sri Pur. We had a delicious dinner and I ordered Vindaloo Lamb and it was superb!!!!
So after our dinner we decided to call it a day and went back to the hotel.
